About the Bros

Darren is an amateur improviser and frozen foodie who co-produces and co-hosts The Froze Bros, a comedy podcast about frozen food. When he's not perusing a freezer aisle or carefully reading food preparation directions, he brings his former-attorney level of due diligence to researching the corporate history and ownership of frozen food brands. He’s also an amateur mixologist, creating concoctions like his signature drink, The D. A New England native and travel buff with a background in the arts, Darren’s right-brain dominance connects pizza bagels to Cape Cod college parties and risotto bites to St. Lucy’s eyeballs—bringing tangents that would derail a lesser podcast. Darren is (sometimes) also the numbers guy on the pod, but he needs to convert every number to 35 before doing the math. Have you spotted a Froze Bros sticker in London, Paris, or the Bahamas? Yeah, he put it there. Did he ever tell you he once accidentally dropped a knife into his foot?

Max joined the podcast as an official Froze Bro in May 2025. Since then he has added immeasurable value to the show, despite Darren’s questions to the contrary. He’s also not afraid to ask the hard-hitting questions: Is José Olé a real person? Why can’t you eat leftover Margaritaville Mango Chutney? How many various food products do you think you could eat in an hour? Keeping The Froze Bro’s research team on its toes is the name of the game. Don’t be fooled by his current headquarters of Philadelphia. Max is a proud Masshole at heart. Between editing episodes and managing The Froze Bros Instagram account, Max enjoys making music, playing softball, and sleeping in a chest freezer… Just kidding. Max doesn’t really sleep. He sleeps, eats, and breathes The Froze Bros podcast. Unless Antiques Roadshow is on, then he’s watching that instead.
